I’ve been seeing lots of cars parked to go down into bear creek. I know benbrook lake has let a lot of water out and most of the creeks are accessible now for easy wading. Wondering if the sandies pushed back out into benbrook or has anyone been down there and seen?

I launched my kayak at hwy. 377 whisky flats Thursday after the water went down far enough to get to it. Last time I was at Bear Creek it was very clear and shallow where it crosses 1187. I imagine you will need waders to walk down stream from there. Rain tonight will change everything though. Fishing at Whisky Flats has been very poor, I managed to pick up one Hybrid drifting live shad from my kayak two days ago. Good luck.
