Drove by Joe Pool yesterday and the parking lot at Lynn Creek Marina was full. Pretty even mix of bass, party boat, and jet ski trailers.

My favorite is when bank fishermen and women set their chairs up right ON the boat ramp!

sSo question for you all if to guys are fishijg in a boat, say 17/ 2o ft boat and they arrive at ramp together. Are or is someone gonna get a visit from Barny??

Same at the 820 ramp on Worth Wednesday evening. Complete mad house but everyone was keeping their distance from each other. Looked like a holiday weekend when I pulled up to the ramp at 5pm. Once I got her dumped and the heck out of there it was a great evening.

Think of it this way... these folks ignoring social distancing are going to continue to ignore it. Going to the lake is not the reason these people are hanging out, if the boat ramp wasn't open they'd be at each others houses or somewhere else. The problem is NOT the boat ramps, its PEOPLE!

No. Considering I've seen 3 different cars full of people park and all load up in the same wake board boat within eye sight of an officer I'd say your good. Whats messed up is I watched them, they weren't even doing any water sports ....all sitting in the boat chillin blasting some awful music across the lake.

There was one stuck on the ramp tonight. Sucked his ski rope into the motor. Lol. He was waiting for someone to go get his truck and trailer from another ramp.

I swear those are some of the dumbest, self centered boaters ive ever witnessed. The girls were hot though. Dancin’ Snoop Dogg while I was chunkin fish at their boat. Lol.

Not gonna get a visit from Barney...lol. We had my Wife, Myself and my 30 year old son in my 19ft boat and no problems. We do all live at the same residence so it's no different than being at home for us...

Side subject, but not really. Why do people with a bass boat, sit and talk with an individual in a big truck, right in front of the launch impeading other abitlty to move about as needed?

Arrow head is only closed due to covid. It was open last year at 7ft high and was open until too many people were partying at the park a few weeks ago.

IMO, they are rude/selfish or just plain oblivious. Either way, it’s not cool.

I launch alone and thus take a tad more time than someone with a partner, but I am in and out in just a few minutes. It’s not hard to be efficient once you are in shared space like the ramp and courtesy dock.

Fished Grapevine the last three nights. Fished from 9:30 to 6 am. Have not seen many other boats. But the ramp gets crazy busy in the mornings.
