Got the boat out yesterday on Lewisville lake and HOLY SMOKES was it packed! Launched at little elm and there was a line out into and down the street waiting for the launch. When I came in I waited over an hour for a free lane at the launch area. Everyone better enjoy fishing right now because there were literally hundreds of people out skiing with 6 or 7 people in the boat , pontoon boats FULL of people and jet ski's everywhere. It's only a matter of time before it's closed because it looks like the 4th of July out there. Music blasting, people partying...etc. It's just nuckin futs out there right now! All these morons piled up on these giant boats are sure to ruin it for everyone! No way you are "social distancing" when the boat is loaded past capacity....... Sorry guys I just had to vent! I did notice that most all the guys in fishing boats seemed to be smart enough to only have a couple people in the boat!

Yea. Yesterday there was quite a lot of people out.
I've been fishing three times a week for the last few weeks and it wasn't until yesterday I saw another boat...and I saw tons of em.

“Social Distancing” at a lake is not a “novel concept” now. Everybody with time on their hand and wanting to “get out”. Probably more “distanced” at Walmart right now!

With Lewisville up 4.42 as of today. Will other ramps open? It seems that they should have more than 1 ramp to keep people apart.

Granbury looked the same way yesterday morning and mostly bassboats. The afternoon had their share of surf boats too. I went into a cove the night before and didn’t see another boat. Yesterday morning , maybe fifteen were packed in there

IF, and that is a BIG IF, everybody in the boat is in the same family then it is permissible.

Hubbard is the same way, boats everywhere lots of packed pontoons and wake boats. I actually think the weekends might be slower!

Been the same way at Roberts the last couple times I've been out. 8 guys in a wake boat. I don't think they were all brothers. Similar thing is occurring on golf courses. My house backs up to a golf course and this is he busiest I have seen it in 7 years. Everyone still huddles on the tee box. The driving range is stupid busy and way too crowded.
