Here’s a copy of what the Brazos River Authority just posted:

To stay consistent with other federal and state entities, starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, April 9, all Brazos River Authority parks will be temporarily closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this time, boat ramps will remain open for access to the lakes at the three BRA-owned reservoirs: Possum Kingdom Lake, Lake Limestone and Lake Granbury. Lake Rangers will continue to monitor conditions on the reservoirs. We encourage everyone to follow the CDC’s guidelines of staying at least six feet apart from others on the water to allow us the ability to keep the lakes open for everyone to enjoy.

This change does not preclude normal access to the river for recreational activities.

We will announce when a definite reopening date has been determined.

Thank you for understanding.
