Just read that Governor Greg Abbott temporarily closed ALL State Parks effective at the end of today (Tuesday.)

SO WHAT IF we use this thread to let folks know where every Texas lake has non-TPWD boat ramps? As far as I know, there are ZERO ramps open on Lake Ray Roberts. Lewisville has a hodgepodge of ramps under different jurisdictions, so what do they have that is OPEN? And what about Bridgeport? Texoma?

So only private home owners or land owners who own property next to a lake will be able to fish that particular lake. Find a friend who has their own private boat launch on the lake which you want to fish. I'm sure there will be plenty of lake side fisherman out there.

Nobody owns property next to Choke Canyon lake so there will be no fisherman out there. Maybe they will reopen it sometime in the summer and the fishing will be fantastic!
