Over the years I have locked in on BPS Pro Qualifier reels as my favorite. All of mine (about 15) are originals, not PQ2’s. They are in good shape, well maintained but just don’t cast like they use to.
Thinking about new bearings in a few to see what difference it will make. Any advice on brands to consider and/or vendors to contact will be appreciated.
Thanks

I don't have any pro-qualifiers anymore but back when I did, the biggest difference between them and a higher quality reel I noticed was the drag performance. It wasn't very smooth on any of mine. With that said, I'm sure you can get replacement bearings and upgrade drag washers if you want/need to.

Ron at Reel Time Rods on Fork has upgraded bearings on several reels. Give him a call and I'm sure he can get you taken care of.
