If I was stricken with COVID-19 and symptoms getting worse I would certainly take it if the docs would prescribe it. Pretty sure just about anyone would no matter their political bias. This is correct. Doctors can and are prescribing this to patients today.

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-04-covid-vaccine-candidate-peer-reviewed.htmlThis is just one of the vaccines in trials now. There are a couple in testing. Hydroxychloroquine and chloroquine has not been approved by the FDA or CDC for treatment. Thats a misconception. Fact is the CDC had guidance for physicians on how to prescribe it which was removed after 3 days and replaced by "There are no drugs or other therapeutics approved by the US Food and Drug Administration to prevent or treat COVID-19". They are allowing physicians to prescribe it for Covid during this emergency. https://www.fda.gov/media/136534/download

Are you saying this one coincidentally works for Lupus and CV? Yes.... by modulating the lysosomes it suppresses Lupus flare ups and makes the breakdown of lung tissue less severe by impeding their ability to digest adjacent material. Our cell’s digestive enzymes are harmful to us if not used properly. There are some great articles on the mechanism if you have trouble sleeping at night. Very thorough.

Good news. Now some positive evidence that it works rather than just testimonials. It should be cheap, quickly available and with known side effects.

The media reports on COVID-19 and potential damage. The media is bad and untrustworthy, interested only in promoting fear and sensationalism.
The media reports on the anecdotal use of hydroxychloroquine pushed by Trump. The media is good and can be trusted.

Interesting but not definitive. I would have several questions not published in the study that IMO they should have published or should have tried to get a better group to study.

As far as I've heard, they don't know of a single case of anyone that has been using this drug for a period of time that has been diagnosed with the virus. I hope that is true and thanks for sharing!

Yes. Since it is already an approved drug, I'd opt for it if I catch the Wuhan China Flu.
