I've already typed a LOT of manifesto type posts on my thoughts on this (I'm surprised I'm still allowed around here). I'll try and summarize here though, my most profound lesson (or lesson reminded might be a better way of saying it) is about fear and faith.
1. Fear is almost always a bigger problem than the actual problem itself, and decisions based on fear are almost never the right ones. Even if you can't control the situation, your can control yourself. Ties into second lesson...
2. This country needs badly to return to a place of faith in God. We are seeing a decline in this infection during Holy Week, and it is beginning to look like it might not be a stretch to say that Easter will be a big turning point (but far be it from to tell God what timing is best). Will we as a nation give God credit for that? We should, and I will. He is sovereign, loves me, and is in control.
"Fear and faith have something in common. They both ask us to believe something we cannot see." -Joel Osteen
Politicians are like diapers, they both need to be changed often, and for the same reason - Unknown

Nothing I didn't know already. For example:
1.Theoretical modeling of a pandemic (guessing) leads to mass paranoia. 2. Lots of low info folks that are easily swayed (Stalin called them useful idiots). 3. Schools have become glorified day cares for selfish mommy and daddy. 4. Colleges really don't need a fortune (or a campus) to teach a kid. 5. Useful idots blindly believe the "experts". The same ones that were suppose to be prepared for this situation but have failed miserably at doing so. Still they "BELIEVE" 6. Useful idiots added more debt on their kids and grand kids generation for a lousy $1200 check. 7. Viruses won't go away till herd immunity is reached, pay now or pay later but you or still gonna pay in deaths. 8. If the virus returns, the useful idiots will play the same song, different verse. So will the government. 9. Here is one that will happen later, when this is over both sides will take credit for reducing the projected (guessed) death toll by blowing trillions in stimulus and destroying trillions in GDP. 10. Here's another that will happen. Useful idiots will let out a sigh of relief, telling their poor overly debt burden grandkids how they bravely hid in their homes to survive a "Pearl Harbor" moment while destroying their economy.

Dry well stated, thank you
call it what you will...he is not definitely not anywhere near the top of the list for QB's that I would choose needing a FG or touchdown drive late in the game.

I’ve come to realize social media can be used against our great nation taking the place of rational thought..... The great TP panic of 2020.
I’ve realized a lot of people cling to old ideas despite scientific breakthroughs if they don’t understand it.
I’ve realized the harm that fake news has done to the average American. Now we don’t know what to trust because we’ve been lied to so much.
I’ve learned I miss the days of Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings and Dan Rather.
I’ve realized how interrelated these things are.

I have learned to never trust a Republican politician again. Bush in 2000 was a disaster, and this fool is worse. Hope we survive. I'll leave it at that. So are you saying there are politicians you trust?
Grateful for every sunrise and sunset I get to witness. - Jason

I've learned that my concerns about Trump's anti-science rhetoric was well founded.

I'll leave it at that. y'all crack me up, so who should be in charge right now, president of our country to lead us out of the pandemic? I can wait, I am on self quarantine (since it is 16 miles to the nearest gas station anyway).

That's why Bigbob is there to keep his chart use in check.
