Well I know that sucks for some families that were hoping to get away for Easter but it's probably the best thing right now. I agree, they did it to protect the public because the public is proving they won't protect themselves. Too many still ganging up and willing to sacrifice a few weeks of going to beach, fishing, etc to let this pass. I want to go fishing bad, really bad, but not getting out there and taking a chance of getting the virus. The lakes will still be there when this is over!

Bernie Sanders is absolutely loving the number of people willing to give up their rights just to "be protected" by the government.

Ivie, Spence and JB Thomas are all closed to camping, however the ramps are still open. It's figures the ramps are open and the fishing is terrible at those locations.

I don't think this is about fishing. I have been out on the water probably 8 times in the last 3 weeks including the weekends. I never got within 30' of another person during this process including stopping for gas. These closures are about the people camping and using facilities around others that may or may not have been isolated for 14+ days. The timing of this probably has as much to do with Easter weekend as anything else. It's just about being smart and as you mentioned, many are not listening and being smart about it.

So all that fish star park lakes are going to other lakes so more crowds on those, yea that makes sense.
