Thanks Grout Scout. I guess distance doesn't matter that much as I know you have had it for a while. Meant to say 2 feet not 2" (inches). I'll update the software.

No, they do not. Only the Minn Kota Ulterra does that I'm aware of.

Mine works great here, might be best to tape it down & test before drilling holes all over the place though. Lots of guys are putting it to the left of the pedal, under the mount when stowed.

Make sure you do both (2) calibrations, I didn’t do that when I first installed mine and it went nuts on occasion.
