Talked to our family doctor this morning. He said he has had one patient with Covid 19. Said the 65 year old could barely breath. Tried to send him to the hospital, but the guy refused. Prescribed hydroxychloroquine and the guy was MUCH better a day later. Three days later he was pretty much back to normal.
Sounds like it worked for him!

That connection is anecdotal. With a study you can find out if it actually works. They have some data and some say it helps, some say it does nothing. But one case and you would have to know what would have happened if he had not taken it. I read a thread on another fishing forum from a person who had it, was violently ill, coughing till he passed out and got afraid of going to sleep because he thought that he would die. He's better now but still weak and has no endurance.
Both him and his girlfriend had it. Girlfriend had light symptoms and yes, people in the thread asked for pictures of the girlfriend.

People are throwing out sound science, testing, double blind studies, etc.

People are throwing out sound science, testing, double blind studies, etc. No doubt you would stand on principle and refuse an experimental treatment that might save your life. Got it.

People are throwing out sound science, testing, double blind studies, etc. Well people are dying and those studies take a long time. Maybe they want their Dr. to try alternative treatments that have a short history of working. By the time the FDA approves it we could all be dead according to the media.

In Iran they were told methanol would kill the virus. It may have but it killed 300 that took it.
I don't see where it would hurt unless the known side effects might make it worse than not using it. Hydroxychloroquine, that is.

Science will have the studies all wrapped up in late 2027. They'll celebrate when they wrap it up in 2025. I think the public will be able to buy masks, gloves and hand sanitizer in 2023.

Lots of anecdotal stories of good results. Had them at my hospital. We're using a cocktail of anecdotal, some with newly accepted studies. There are some very small studies that say Hydroxychloroquine is ineffective. If I was getting sick I'd want the Hydroxychloroquine. It's part of the cocktail we're using and seems to slow the cytokine storms associated with this malady. https://www.forbes.com/sites/willia...nst-covid-19---so-what-now/#526fd5ea409bThere's other studies. We lost a patient yesterday. The anxiety levels at the hospital is palpable. Usual treatments on ventilated patients seem ineffective. This beast is a B!T(H. Here's some science for you Bugman, you seem to like the science: https://www.evolutamente.it/covid-1...hO1REF0vz4QUSAr46YxiPQZWSd6G90KLoeX8i1sQ
Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.
