We had a great sermon this morning and it was essentially 1 John 2:6...
“The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”
It struck a chord with me because I’ve caught myself getting worked up on here for no reason other than differing opinions. My marriage was redeemed many years ago when we both wanted out and my life was redeemed from a debilitating addiction. Now twelve years free from that nonsense I’m happier now than ever due to a spiritual awakening and a personal relationship with JC.
I’m very appreciative for you guys and gals, the TFF, and our shared undying American spirit that will prevail. We are not each other’s enemy. Please forgive me if I’ve stepped on any toes.
I’m continually in a process of trying to walk as He did but it’s a work in progress.
God Bless us all,
Jackson

Good word
The verses I try and live each day is 1 Thes. 5:16-18 "Be joyful always, pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you through Jesus Christ."
I want to be the light in a dark world.
I Thes. 5:16-18

The worst it gets the more we will need Jesus, the less we seem to look up, vicious circle. Good thing he is very gracious to us all
you have not done anything any worse then a lot of us in the past. LOL
don't worry about it, if you get to far off track, the mods will let you know and you will be in TFF jail for a couple weeks LOL

Jackson Awesome post. If God is for you than who should be against you? God's word promises his Christians that Jesus is with you always !

PRAY!!!!
Today a friend of mine posted this to his Facebook page and I thought it was important enough to post on this site as well.
"Someone has said that if Christians really understood the full extent of the power we have available through prayer, we might be speechless. Did you know that during WWII there was an advisor to Churchill who organized a group of people who dropped what they were doing every day at the prescribed hour for one minute to collectively pray for the safety of England, its people and peace?
There is now a group of people organizing the same thing here in America. If you would like to participate: Every evening at 8pm Central time, stop what you are doing and spend one minute at 8:00 - 8:01 pm praying for the safety of the United States, our troops, our citizens, and for a return to a Godly nation. If you have a smart phone set set an alarm to pray from 8:00 - 8:01 pm. Please pass this along to your prayer family and friends. Our prayers are the most powerful asset we have."
I would add to that to pray for the citizens and leaders of this nation to repent and turn from their wicked ways. Pray that God would touch the hearts of the politicians of this once-great nation to convict them of their ungodly, sinful ways.

I got TWO nice voicemails at work this morning when I got here from gentlemen who didn't leave a name but had some very nice things to say. I have to say it was quite touching.
This TFF crew is a really great group.
