A bunch somehow now have the N95 masks that need to go to hospitals. Don’t know how they are getting them. They should go to hospitals. I was at HEB this morning. A 1/3 had mask of some sort. About 1/3 of those had N95. Zero reason for you to have a N95 mask there . Just stay away from others, wash hands often, hand sanitizer, don’t touch your face. It’s easy enough to be safe. Many people bought them very early on in January, Ebay was selling them like hotcakes back then and prices were pretty good.

For people that have N95 masks they should keep them. Most if not all the donation sites won't take masks unless they come in unopened boxes for obvious reasons.

I donated a lot of money to them back when I lived in Irving and the Tax accessor taxed me on my house. Then I got to see personally how frivolous public hospital spend money. JPS the public hospital in Fort Worth that is partially funded by tax payers are very generous on salary and almost silly on giving bonus to people come to work for half a day, and then give them $100 bonus to work. If you look at what hospitals charge insurance companies vs Self Pay individual you will see hospitals are a racket, they are in bed with the insurance company. Self pay is about 10x less for same services vs what they charge your insurance.

This. I have a few N-95 masks because I use them when painting, grinding and anything that is really dusty. They are kept stored in a large plastic box that BOB'S Peppermints came in. Not sure that would be sterile enough for the hospitals to accept. That said I don't have boxes and boxes of them and had them before all of this crazy stuff started.
