Dang, why the hate for the U-Haul. Two years ago we moved my son and his wife from Houston to Connecticut, my wife rode in the U-Haul with me on the three day trip and we had a blast. They had 2 folks unload the truck and take everything upstairs. We spent the next 3 days in New York City with a foot of snow in Central Park, then flew home. Last year I flew up and my son and I drove it in 2 days from Hartford to Plano. We enjoyed the trip and saw country we had never been thru. Painting I agree 100% with you on.

Having the staples (medical ones they use instead of stitches) removed from my arm so they could inspect the artery repair. Once they had the arm open, then they injected some morphine into the muscle tissue. They had me biting down on a towel.
Deep root (teeth) cleaning. Couldn't chew for about a week.
Had a tooth drilled for a filling once without any pain killers, won't do that again.
And for a non-painful item - Pulling weeds out of the water treatment pits at a youth camp I worked at for a summer job back in the 70's.
May you be treated the way you treat other people, today and everyday!

I haven’t had one but the colonoscopy is coming in four years. You frequently hear of a tear from them ramming that camera around a corner and poop spilling into your innards and that just doesn’t end well. The finger was bad enough for the pilot physical but a big ol’ camera has me concerned.
Oh yeah... moving and painting are really up there too.
Edited.... add the camera up the Pee hole thing. That sounds awful. I've had a couple colonoscopy's and there was nothing to them-they stick a needle in your arm and you wake up later,no pain and no problems for me.....the aggravating part is not eating the day before, drinking what seems like 5 gallons of that laxative drink then sitting on toilet 2 hours....as one guy said " I never saw a need for a seat belt on a toilet until I had to empty my system for a colonoscopy".... I’m glad to hear that. Don’t they fill you full of air so they can see better? That has to be a good time afterward. And I’m okay with rarely a tear. It’s probably one of those things where you only hear about the bad ones.

I hated shoveling wheat out of the bottom of the silo when it was almost empty. Always in August or early September. Ours were built out of old 500 BBL tanks, and had no cone in the bottom, so the last 200 bushels or so were shoveled into the auger pan.
Recovering from a double Hernia surgery rates right up there as well.

I had a colonoscopy earlier this year. I did the prep, all of it. When I first woke up, the doctor, straight from Nigeria was yelling at me for not being fully prepared for the procedure. I was still pretty groggy during the exchange. I Remember my wife telling me to shut up and telling the doctor that I did. I was trying to show the guy how hard I prepped but that seemed to make the wife more agitated so I stopped trying to help. It was an awkward ride home. I kept trying to break the ice with her by asking her , “Sup which you”. She wouldn't stop at Burger King. We didn’t talk much more that day.
They cancelled the one I was supposed to go to last week. I’m just fine with that too. It didn’t taste like lemon lime at all.

And another thing. The sleep clinic people said come in at 7:00PM. Have supper before you get here and just settle in the room and watch TV and try to get a good night of sleep. Do normal stuff. After 6-8 stones, they came in and told me to put some clothes back on and get a ride back home, I told them I paid for that room and I’m not leaving. I’m not sure if they scrapped the stuff on my or not, but by morning I woke up pulling probes off my body. I think it worked because I felt really rested for the first time in weeks, can’t wait for the new Cpap to show up. I hope it has a vanilla scent to it like a vape pen does.
