I live in Plano and have been using TXU for six years, paying about .12/kw. Do you use some other company that's cheaper?

Installed Solar on my place a couple months ago. I pay for the panels (which is about what I normaly pay monthly) and its the same amount each month. I have a provider/CoServ but I have a zero balance each month. Only way to go in my opinion. Get on the Power to Choose website. There are a lot of companies cheaper than TXU.

We use Think Energy and have some insanely low electric bills. We foubd them on Power to Choose I'm with Think Energy as well. It was time for me to shop around and the renewal with Think was just as low as the other "New" contracts. Have had zero problems with them, so...signed up for another year.

TXU is a horrible ripoff - If you like to "do it yourself" - powertochoose.org or, energyogre.com for the win.

The trick to always having the cheapest energy is you have to switch at every contract renewal. If you donโt have the time pay Enegy Ogre to do it for you.
