What ever happened to the zebra mussel invasion. It was posted everywhere and everyone was saying that it was the end of our lakes. I haven't heard anything about it in a very long time and have never seen it on lakes that I frequent in the DFW area. Did the infiltration of it slow down or did they just get tired of talking about it?

What happened was the border got busy and everyone focused on that until the Coronavirus came along. We'll have a new subject next month.

Yep, come on down to any of these lakes near Austin. I remember last summer catching some decent bass on Travis with a 6xd. Retied my bait after cathing 5 or 6. Was reeling it back in after coming over a rock and all of the sudden...nothing. Thought I had a fish swimming fast at me...Nope. No bait. Just gone.

Baaaaaaad on Bridgeport. If Texoma has em itโ€™s nowhere near as bad. I tied a deep plug on, made a cast, reeled it back in, went to cast again and she snapped off about 2 feet up the line behind me. That bad.

If you can't find em wind em.
