Burn through my savings because the govt won't give me permission to work ?

Of course you pay your bills. Why can't you work? Lots of placing hiring. Sounds like. Don't want to work.

The government did not cause the Covid-19 though they were way too slow to respond while in denial. Pay what you can and communicate with those who you can't pay. Be straight up and it will help.

We've always known that one should have some cash set aside for emergencies. It is astounding how many families have less than $400 available for anything not anticipated.

I would go now and come back in the winter when Wisconsin's lakes are frozen over.

We've had 3 years of a record economy. Hopefully most folks used that as an opportunity to build up a sizable emergency fund. Sadly I suspect our country is full of mostly grasshoppers.

While we have had a record economy, unfortunately we've also had a significant segment that hasn't been a participant. I really feel for the single parent who works in the food industry and earns minimum wage are a little more who lives paycheck to paycheck for food and rent.

A lot of good people out there with lower paying jobs that managed to save a little willl run through their reserves quickly. I feel for them. Probably more out there in that category than any other.

Ours was the land of milk and honey, and when this is over people are going to live completely differently, similar to those who lived through the great depression.

Just one more cast!

If you're that worried about it, go get a temporary job until this blows over. All kinds of places trying to boost their workforce.
