First let me say I'm not bashing this product or trying to get something for nothing just wanted to see if any of you have experienced the same problem with this shallow running crank baits as i have. The problem is that the bill fall off, I was not banging them into rock, Bridge Pilings or Bridge Embankments I was using the first one around stumps but not in contact with a lot of stumps, first time it happened i made the cast and started retrieving and i could tell something was wrong and the bill was gone clean break so I tried another next time out and after a couple days of fishing it did the same thing I bought 4 and out of the 4 3 of the bills came off. I have to Give Tackle Warehouse credit they made good on the 3 I bought them from, I sent Berkeley an e-mail but have not heard back from them as I said not looking for anything from them just wanted to let them know what was happening with there product, which is a great CB but at $9 cant keep buying them to have Bill come off. Think I may try the 6Th Sense Faltside CB and see how it hold up I seen KEN Smith @KENSmithFishing.Com( Sorry Ken had to put that in LOL! using them on his Video Anyway just FYI if you have not tried the Berkeley Frittside small CB you may want to just buy 1 for now and fish it for a while and see if it hold up they may of fixed the problem or maybe I just got a bad batch. Stay safe and and use precautions during this epidemic.

That’s the ones I have-Even though I have been using them for Redfish, those little guys sure have a hard thump and cast well too. I haven’t had any problems like that.

They don’t work send them to me. On a serious note, I haven’t experienced this with any of the sizes.

Just had the same thing happen to me on Rayburn yesterday. Throwing the smaller one, hit a bush in the water and the bill broke off. Think I paid 8 or 9 bucks at Academy and used it for a couple of hours before it broke. I immediately thought about this thread.
