Pretty much why many of the locals around Fork weren’t too happy about everyone acting like it’s Spring Break during a pandemic. Lots and lots of older folk out here with nowhere to go.

Pretty much why many of the locals around Fork weren’t too happy about everyone acting like it’s Spring Break during a pandemic. Lots and lots of older folk out here with nowhere to go. I don't blame them. I wouldn't want a bunch of yahoos from DFW bringing the virus into my small community either. Not much different from the spring breakers in Florida. Hitting the stores, restaurants and gas stations it is sure to be spread. I figure that the Gov't. will shut it down if it gets worse.

Other than gas stations, groceries have to be most likely place to get infected right now. It's practically all thats open and full of freaking people Yep, I had to pick up something at Dollar General in Alba last weekend. I was the only one in a mask and gloves. Staying in my camper out there is safer than being home in DFW as long as I take proper precautions. Fish aren't going to give me covid.

Lots and lots of older folk out here with nowhere to go. yep, I am getting my trailer ready to move back into full time so was there to take care of some things. people had no concern for being close or not so I left and came back early. this stuff would kill me with my health problems, don't need some dfw tourist taking me out like that.

I just heard they are now under a shelter in place out there. Have all the out of staters gone home and the hotels/cabins shut down? Heard the influx of people from out of state was high and the marinas and hotels/cabins were full. We don’t need N Texas to become the next NY!

everyone has numbers, how many people die daily anyway??? Someone just decided to exploit this virus and now people are being controlled like sheep. JMO but hey its America and I'm free to my thoughts and yes I'm an essential worker on THE FRONT LINE
