I have had good luck with the Sam's Duracell deep cycle batteries. Group 31 if they will fit or 27.

Ditto on the Sam's Duracell. I'm selling a set of 3 that have never been in the boat for anyone looking. I shouldn't have bought them, nothing wrong with them at all.

I go buy three new Everstart Maxx's for the trolling motor every three years and have never had one go bad.

Same here, unless I am fishing like 3 to 4 times per week then I replace them every 2 years.

Ditto for the Duracell's. I have a pair of group 31's going on their 4th season and still holding up great and I use them 2-3x a week. Just replaced my cranking battery with one as well.

OK, thanks guys, that's what I am thinking. I have noticed they seem to be slowing down no matter how much I charge them and also found a melted connector on my charger so I replaced that and was thinking that's the problem, but I'm thinking the batteries have finally carped out, so time to replace.

Sam's club has the non-AGM duracell group 31 deep cycle on sale for $80 right now! ......They are low maintenance, so adding distilled water every few months at most isn't a big deal. I think the sale ends on the 4th, so hurry.

The Duracell 31 AGM from Sam's club is a rebranded Deka also. Very good AGM. Best bang for your buck
