Very sorry to hear this Kicker.
A bunch of us may need to go into financial hibernation to whatever extent we can before too long. I hope like heck I'm wrong, but I'm afraid we are not going to see significant improvement for a couple months at the very least. Unless you've got an ultra hefty emergency fund it's probably wise to really scrub your expense list now and cut out whatever you can. I'm still employed, but I can see trouble on the horizon so I started that exercise in my household last night.
If there is a silver lining here, I think once we get through this the bounce back will be fast and big.

I'm glad your test was negative. File for unemployment. Try to do so between 1:00 and 6:00 a.m. as the site is less busy. It'll only take about 7 minutes. Even if you don't think you're eligible, file. The stimulus bill changed up who is eligible and added $600/week for four months to the standard state payment. My boss' wife lost her job yesterday.... I can't work in my profession for at least another month, but fortunately I'm being given new duties at work until I can return to my normal job. Otherwise, I'd be right there with you. Good luck!

One day after I get my negative test for Covid19, I got let go from my job.
Work is slow well really it's down to nothing. I'm mad, sad and kind of relieved all at the sametime.
I have money set aside for a little while so I think we'll be ok for a little while.(That was my boat money, but family and bills 1st)
Waiting on the test results and feeling like dog krap for 4 or 5 day's is really stress full, for myself and the family because you just don't really know.
I left on good terms I could have been an arse but that wouldn't have done anyone and good in these times, I figure they are stressed I'm stressed and in
this time it is just what it is.
Only thing I can do for now is get somethings done around the house that I haven't been able to for a while and get back to reading and studying the
good book. Hang in there! Things will get better in the long run! A good friend of mine lost her job and she is now delivering for Amazon and making pretty good money! Find something temporary. A lot of super markets, distribution centers, and other services are hiring. Most important as I always say. "The Lord Jesus Christ has control"!
