Put boat in water this afternoon started right up made 2 other moves then went to move again no power, no trim ,no ignition NOTHING Starting battery is hot because fuel gage/graphs work.

G1 or G2? There was a service bulletin on the G2 ignition switches a while back.

Can you take the cowling off and gain access to the starter solenoid & starter to jumper past the solenoid? Confirm you have 12V to the solenoid if you have a voltmeter or test light. This won't repair it, but it can help you understand what's happened.

Could it be simple-like the kill switch was pulled? Had same thing happen to me and floated for an hour trying to diagnose all fuses, circuit breakers, battery connections, etc, and then realized I had left the throttle barely in gear.

There’s a fuse box inside the cowling, check that too


One 10-pounder is better than ten 1-pounders; but 100 1-pounders is ok too!
