 Silverado shredded seats repair/replace options?

Son-in-law and I flip autos (primarily older Chevy Avalanches/Silverados) as a hobby/side-hustle and we just acquired an ‘01 Silverado Extended Cab 1500 5.3 that has been sitting for almost two years. All the mechanical issues have been addressed and we’re trying to decide what to do with the driver/passenger leather bucket seats (auto-adjusting) that are completely shredded. Not a big fan of the “throw some seat covers over it”.
These are difficult to find and seemingly expensive to repair. We’ve been monitoring: eBay, CL, Pick-N-Pull and a couple of other social sites without any luck.
Any ideas?

Call Chevy. They have replacement seat skins cut and fitted.

I just did the driver seat in my ‘99 GMC. A place in SW Houston (Richardson something?) had the factory upholstery and new seat foam cushion for it and a local shop installed it for me. Just like new.

Get with a local upholstery shop. At one time there was a dude off Denton Dr south of 635. He made a custom tonneau cover for me and a buddy. He was redoing a complete caddy when I was in there. Other option is Katskins for whole interior.

ditch the leather, recover with something within budget...cloth, vinyl.

Alea Leather makes factory leather recover sets for that truck. Presewn. Easy to install.
