An article in the newspaper in Lawrence points out that Kansas spent the third most in college football for severance pay over the last decade and a half....almost $24 million dollars US for coaches not to coach.
Ineptitude is one thing...but I am not convinced you would not have had as many victories if you just picked names at random from the phone book to be head coach.
Seeing how badly the money has been spent, no wonder the BMDs are reluctant to give them more.

How many coaches have they been through in 15 years??
It would seem they expect instant results rather than giving a coach enough time to get his plan working.

Nick Saban would have a hard time winning at Kansas, should of kept Mangino. Weiss was the hardest one for me to understand.

On the bright side KU might not have a losing season this yr That's my hope. Cancel the season...spare the embarrassment.

Nick Saban would have a hard time winning at Kansas, should of kept Mangino. Weiss was the hardest one for me to understand. It would take Saban maybe three years tops. A lot of the kids would want to go play for a proven winner.
