Any tips on the crappie out there this time of year? I went today with my dad and I caught 3 nice ones back to back to back off a tree near the mouth of the creek out there. After that, we never got another bite. Any advice would be great because today was the first time I’ve actually fished that lake.

Water temp was around 67-68 this evening. Caught a few shooting one dock in about 10 ft of water but couldn’t find any on any other docks. Found a bunch of dinks on some brush in 15ft of water.

Water is warm, fishing is generally ok but has a ton of pressure and even triple that now. I still fish it because it's so close and small.

I kinda figured it would be packed so I went to Clark. It was packed also. Most boat’s I’ve ever seen there. A bunch of kayaks too. Water temp was about 64. I caught a bunch of 9.5” fish and 4 keepers.

I believe they are all over. I've caught them shallow and out in deep water on trees and piles all in last week. Just very busy for such a small lake. Bigger crowds than summer

In some laydowns about 9-10 ft. of water. Saw some in brush 12-16 ft. but couldn't get a bite.
