Looking at tacklewarehouse and found soft body crankbaits, curious if anyone one has had success with them and how they compare to the hard body?

Tried tried them years ago and did not like them. Of course, these are probably a lot better, since the ones I tried were 17 years ago. Once they got unbalanced, they were never going back into balance w/o a TON of time ne 3ffort. These I tried had a balancing tool that was useless after the first 5 or 6 fish. Buy some and give us a report ono them. II am always interested in new ideas in the CB field. Once they got out of alignment, you could not correct very well. GOOD LUCK.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

I caught a ton of Bass on the Vivif Minnow that could only be ordered out of the back of fishing magazines. Only 3.5 inches long and very light with one treble hook on the belly and dove to about 3 ft.. The Dancing Ell also produced fish and is still being made today. Caught lots of bass on it also around grass lines on Ivie when it first opened. It sinks extremely slow; so when you stop the retrieve it suspends for a second or two. That was the part the fish liked; the stop and go action of the tail.
