As you can see everyone fishes their confidence baits depending on the conditions and times of the year. This is your starting point that all fisherman accomplish that have spent any time on the water to figure out their lake of choice. Once I reached this level of fishing; we then put together a system for two fisherman in the boat to double up on finding fish on a regular basis and getting them to bite. Here is my article on developing this System. https://texasfishingforum.com/forum...5605/re-developing-a-system#Post13255605

Find a school and drop shot them all day. Cover water with a drop shot. Bed fish with a drop shot. But, yesterday, it was a frog bite. All day.
It depends on the lake conditions.
Some days I can catch fish all day on a shaky head zoom worm. Sometimes it’s a c rig.
I have caught the most fish, by a long shot, using a flick/shake setup with a Yamamoto Senko. But it doesn’t always work. Second is probably a Biffle Bug on a peg weighted 3/0 flipping hook. Those two setups are always on deck. I will adjust the other rods on the lake.
Eat. Sleep. Fish.

Flipping Texas rigged 5 inch Senko or Yumdinger with 1/8 oz bullet weight to gentle sloping bank near deeper water. I use pumpkin seed color, but doubt that it matters.

Drop shot, and it’s boring me, but at least I’m catching a few fish.

Man, I love fishing a spinnerbait. Its a year round bait, catches big fish and I think I am pretty good at fishing one.
HOWEVER, if I had to catch fish, I would go with a light t-rigged Yum Craw Papi. That bait just flat catches bass.
