One point that is mentioned in the video but underappreciated is the importance of practicing with the same rod, reel, lure weight, and leader length as one will be using for real.

Good video . I had three friends growing up and we all loved bass fishing -- it was new back in the 70's and there wasn't any real good info on what/when/how . We ended up setting up Yuban coffee cans in the front yard , about 50-60 away and started throwing 1/8ounce Trigged worms until we could get close ---- or win a bet as to who was best . We were using Garcia 5000D's and Lews Speed sticks with blue Stren line . At the same time , Legendary angler , Stan Fagerstorm ( SP?) would put on casting shows at the local fishing Expo's ---- crazy skills . He could put a cast exactly where he wanted and change targets all the time . We all thought if we could just cast like him ---- we would catch way more bass ---haha.

pitching a top water rat down the aisles of bass pro shops can create a few good laughs/scares, so I heard...
