I keep hearing parents complain about being quarantined with their kids and going nuts. While I’m not a fan of being under quarantine, we’ve had a great week of fishing and spending time together making memories. It’s been a ton of fun teaching my son how to throw a net, cut bait, and catch fish. Here a quick video of our adventures this past week.

Corona Virus Fishing

Great job. I took my son fishing the past 2 days but he is ready for a break now. Day 1 we caught 24 before he got bored and yesterday we got 14 before he was done. I let him take me and momma on a long boat ride though and that made him happy again. I don’t want to we’re him out on fishing

I’m hoping to get out on Lewisville, Lavon or Ray Hubbard today. Just trying to find a park that isnt closed or overrun. My wife likes to go fishing with me, but she’s got a bad back, so it makes it harder to get into those harder to reach fishing spots. Good job getting the little ones into fishing.

Thanks Amigos Fishing with a little guy is a ton of fun Matt. My son used to tell me when he was ready to go home but now I have to drag him off the lake. Every night before bed he’s been asking if we can go fishing tomorrow!

People complain about sitting at home, and the State Parks, many of them are still open for day use and camping.
I went yesterday expecting the park to be full, but to my surprise it wasn't 1/4 full if that!
I had no problem finding a place to fish from the bank and many camping areas and tables there were just nobody there.

Hey DidU Lavon is about 8.5’ high right now. All ramps that I know of are closed.

Thanks my catfishin bro’s! It’s been a dream come true watching my son take to catfishing. Let’s get your little guy on some fish when this Corona Virus is behind us Fredo. We can take my rig so you can focus on helping your little guy. My boat has high sides and is safe for kids I’ll drop y’all off after he’s tired which won’t take long at his age. 1 or 2 fish is all my son could handle at 2yrs old and some days he just wanted to play with Shad or throw ice cubes in the lake. Jax turned 4 in December and now he wants to fish all day.
