Yes I am. Was lucky enough to live 5 minutes from a great marina where many tournaments went out of. I was neighbors with Bobby Barrack (Frog Fishing King), and Dee Thomas (Man who invented Flippin), and fished with and around them for years. Learning these shallow lakes is so much different than the tidal waters of the Delta, and the deeper lakes we fished. I do look forward to figuring it out. Yes I am. Do you remember the Delta video that Bobby did with Dave Tencati ? Lots of good info in that one . You'll like Ray Rob , it's a fun lake , not to difficult to figure out . The wood on the lake is very different than most Cali lakes . Be careful of running the water --- some of the area's have big wood under water and its not always obvious . Good luck , tight lines

Moved here a few months back, and only have fished Lewisville since I live a few minutes away. Want to try Ray Roberts or Ry Hubbard, which is a better bet? Any help is appreciated
Thanks

A few different types of lakes here. I prefer the grass lakes in east Texas more than most of the dfw lakes but they are great to. More rock, marina type fishing. Hit me up if you need anything, Bobby's a good friend.

Would love to connect and learn more about the lakes here. I live minutes from Lewisville & Roberts, but am willing to drive to find some vegetation and fun fishing. It has been a few years since I saw Bobby and Staci, but I hear they live here in Northeast TX?

Welcome!!!
Recent CA transplant as well. I'm lucky enough to live 8 minutes from the Ray Bob ramp, Jordan Moore. Been living here for close to a year now and LOVE it here. Ray Bob fishes different than any CA lake I've been on. I feel I've been able to start adapting to it and still have a ton to learn. You're welcome to join me if you're open to seeing the lake soon. I try to get out weekly so that I can keep my mind free and focused.
Please heed the warnings of the underwater hazards...I still haven't learned all the lanes and drive with caution and pucker factor at 100%.
Looking forward to seeing you on the water.

Ok wrong guy. A sales manager for a tactical and police boot company just moved here from close to the Delta. I thought it might be you. Good luck and good fishing. Those metroplex lakes can be tough as they get a bunch of pressure. Head out west for some low pressure fishing.

Welcome to Texas, RR gets better next month, I heard Lewisville is fishing pretty good right now. Going to be heading to Fork, RR and Lewisville next week.
Just moved here about 7 years ago myself.
