I like the guides on the Dobyns better than the guides on the NRX. I own neither of these rods, but I like Titanium framed Torzite guides over TiSIC.
The NRX is literally the rod blank for which ALL rods are compared against. The Dobyns uses better grade cork on the handles too.
I think I’d pick the Dobyns, as it seems it’s a better value for the money. Can’t go wrong with either.

I really LIKE my NRX for lightness and sensitivity. I DON'T like those wire guides though.
I've only handled one XTASY and it felt incredibly light without a reel mounted and line/lure. The guides sure look interesting and maybe my buddy will let me use it soon so I can see how I like em.

No Dobyns experience. I have a number of NRX's, GLX's, and IMX's. I'm a fan...Zero complaints or concerns. Doubt you will be disappointed in either.

I have almost all models of the nrx send me a dobyns to compare and Ill give you fair comparison.
In looking at their site it appears they are full handles and have a weight in the end of them.... I dont really like full diameter handles, prefer the split grip.

I have NRX's and Xtacy rods. Sensitivity I give to the NRX but only by a slight margin. Balance and feel would go to the Xtacy. Looks would go to the Extacy but if they still made the green NRX this would be a push. Materials and craftsmanship would go to the Xtacy and I hate saying that as Loomis is still made in America but owned by a Japanese corp. Dobyns are made in Korea and China but are an American owned company. My next rod purchase will be a DRX 742 spinning rod for dropshot I currently use a Dobyns DX HP 702 and it's awesome. Warranty is a push as they are essentially the same. Overall rod for the dollar the Dobyns Xtacy is the best value IMHO but the NRX is an elite product as well.

Ahhhh.... The Ferrari vs Lamborghini discussion.
I now own the Xstacy and can tell you that it’s slightly superior in almost every category but by a fraction of a percentage.
One is owned by Shimano and the other is by a guy down the road from you if that matters to you.
They are both a finely tuned fishing rods so it’s really splitting hairs at that level IMO.
