Thanks for the replies.
I get as much (or more) satisfaction caching these guys with a fly as any kind of fishing I do.
I am using a 5 wt 9ft rod. I use this rod cuz I can cast in more wind than lighter ones. Could NOT cast it today....WINDY here. Have a 9/10 that I use on the bays....wears you out, but can put a bunch of line out there.
Hopefully the wind will lay down at dusk and I can repeat this today!

Incidentally; my boy watched me fly fishing and he wants a rod now.
