I bass fished for over 40 years and went back and forth on my belief about attractants. So what attractants are good for crappie and do they really help at all?

I'm a firm believer in scents helps and use several different kinds.....I think it's more about getting human scent off your bait but I have seen one scent work a lot better than others on a different days....
It makes a difference for sure....

I believe it does make a difference especially if they are not that active. I use Bonehead liquid shad scent and I love it.

I use Megastrike gel, a tube will last me about a year. I keep it in the refrigerator when I'm not fishing.

I used it on soft plastics when I bass fished and it seems the crappie like it too.

I've had a couple of crappie swallow a 1/16th oz road runner this year!

Another vote for crappie nibbles. They are easy to use and don't make a mess.

Another vote for Crappie Nibbles. You can get a lot more out of it by mixing and dipping as shown.
