Got a ticket headed to Ray Roberts yesterday on a 2 lane road for speeding. State Trooper....Could have cared less if I was out and about. I was alone.

You must have been going more than 10 over.

Went to Rayburn today. I didn't see any cops and didn't have any problems except the ramp was packed like it was Memorial Day! Not as bad as Big Bass Splash but plenty of folks.

I live 90 seconds from my neighborhood boat ramp on Lake Travis. I haven't been pulled over yet.

Honestly, one of the best things you can do for your mental health is to go fishing.
Thoroughly sterilize the gas pump, your credit card, everything you touch, and your hands. Distancing at the lake.
Good health to all.

Spoke to a nice Grapevine LEO 2 days ago. I asked him if I was pulling a boat down Hwy 114 what might happen. His response was, "We have a lot bigger fish to fry than pulling over folks headed to the lake". He told me that he wouldn't personally pull me over but he couldn't speak for State Troopers.

My strategy is if I get pulled over as the officer walks up to my Tahoe I am going to roll the window down and start coughing my head off as he walks up....

I've got my county's order printed, with the appropriate lines highlighted, just in case a confused officer has any issue with me. I doubt that it will even be needed. The orders are quite clear. If you are fishing alone, you are clearly in compliance with the orders.

Good to see Iā€™m not the only one to do this. Haha

I was hand sterilizing after using the gas pumps months before all this started, and did every year before and during flu season.
Gas pump handles are the worst place, and store door handles and shopping carts.
