Is the Mega + (Plus) that much of an upgrade over the regular Mega? I have the Helix 7 with Mega and the Helix 9 and Helix 10 have the Mega +. Whatever that means. Is it worth the extra $$?

The Helix 7 G3/G3N is not MEGA+ but does have the MEGA frequency for Imaging and it has HW CHIRP as standard for 2D sonar. Those are better than the former generations.

SI+ and DI+ means more power than SI and DI. That improves the Imaging quality and provides for more depth capability and range capability for the MEGA Imaging frequency.

Helix 12 CHIRP MEGA SI+ GPS G3N and G4N, 1198c SI, Helix 7 CHIRP MEGA SI GPS G3,
Helix 10 MEGA DI+ GPS G3N, SOLIX 12 SI and G3, MEGA 360, RC-1
