They just had an update saying you could do outdoor activities.
Stay 6 feet away from one another.
The activities were running, walking, exersizing.
I put fishing in that area of good for your health activities,
Any thoughts

If I was a Dallas County resident I would go fishing. I would honor social distancing etc but I would be fishing same as I am now.

“Walk” carefully down the ramp.
“Run” all your motors and electronics.
“Exercise” your right-to-fish.

Did this order come from the Governor of Texas or just a Dallas county liberal judge? Jenkins is a liberal Democrat idiot.

Dallas County was never not allowed to exercise outdoors. I watched what you did but there has never been a restriction on outdoor exercise/recreation done 6 ft from someone not currently residing with you.

Maybe he is and maybe he isn't. I fall in the middle of what people think on here. Meaning I don't think it is nothing but I also don't think we should do nothing. What exactly is the liberal idiot judge proposing that the governor didn't say? I might be missing something but didn't the judge shut down non essential businesses and urge people not to go out if they don't have to? We can argue until we are blue in the face but the Governor has said essentially the same thing.

Having said all that I think we need to be very careful what we shut down and I tremendously feel for everyone in the service world, especially. Please support as many of these folks as you can by ordering take out and purchasing gift certificates. Lord knows they are going to need it.

So do you think we are fine towing the boat to the lake?

I do not think you will have any issues...even if you are stopped I bet you get "informed" as opposed to ticketed. Just a hunch on that. Dallas County restrictions only pertain to residents of that county. They cannot stop you from driving through the county from what I understand.

I don’t think there is a restriction on driving. Just tell the cops you can’t afford boat storage and drive around with it all the time.

Slip the cop a few sheets of 2-ply toilet paper. If that does not work, start coughing.

Or tell them you are going to a Federal Lake to fish,

I have had police all over Texas tell me they don't enforce Federal Laws, only state laws.

I think fishing will qualify for an "ESSENTIAL" thing. I have to go to work because my work place is claiming to be and essential work place. So I think my family needs food so I am going fishing for the essential food we need.....

If you catch a fish, do you have to stay 6 feet away from it also? LOL
