I know LCRA has closed their parks and ramps but does anyone know of other ramps that will be open? Thanks!

LCRA is shutting down ALL parks AND ramps under their organization. I think there are lots of other public ramps on Buch, but not 100% sure.

Thunderbird Lodge has a good ramp. Several other places to launch also.

not entirely correct...they're shutting down parks and ramps that they SOLEY control...third party managed lakes like Fayette are open- https://www.lcra.org/parks/pages/boat-ramp-information.aspx

If you can find an old 888 they still had the star drag on the side. That was a very good reel. I can still see my wife when we were tied up to a rig and she had a fish take her all the way to the spool. I thought she would break the rod but she held on for about ten minutes till she finally landed a 46-inch cobia lol.

I'll be there, for the first time, in late June. We're staying in Kingsland.

Can someone recommend a good ramp near the Dam?
