Second Annual Cedar Creek White Bass TournamentIn Association with Cedar Creek white bass specialists DENNIS CHRISTIAN and GEORGE (FastGuy) MALIK and BIGCRAPPIE.COM GUIDE SERVICE
On June 27, 2020, the SECOND ANNUAL CEDAR CREEK VETERANS FOUNDATION (CCVF) white bass tournament will be held. The location is Cedar Creek Lake at Log Cabin boat ramp and grounds.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The tournament is contingent on the coronavirus epidemic being under control by that time. If it appears it will still be an issue on tournament date, we will announce by June 13 that we will either cancel or postpone the tournament.
Like last year, we will have an individual tournament with categories for adults and children. Children ages eight to twelve may register in either the Children's Division or the Adult Division but not both. If they register in the Adult Division, they will be required to pay the $50.00 adult registration fee.
In addition to promoting family fun through fishing and just being in the great outdoors, the HOOKED ON VETERANS white bass tournament is to raise money for CCVF. This is the organization that also supports the Cedar Creek community and raises money through the annual 4th Of July Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake Air Show. CCVF's mission is to honor the courageous men and women who have served to protect our freedoms by providing financial support for those agencies responsible for their care and nurture. The three beneficiaries supported by CCVF are Fisher House, Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society, and CampV, Tyler, TX. CCVF is a 501c3 and is led by an all-volunteer team of Board of Directors and Officers. All proceeds from their fundraisers go to support these charities.
In addition to the fishing tournament, if the coronavirus situation permits it, we will have a free fish-fry meal for all contestants immediately following the weigh-in. If we are still needing to be careful, we will not be feeding you for lunch. Like last year, there will be an auction to add to the money raised. Following that, we will recognize tournament winners.

TOURNAMENT HOURS: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
COST: The cost of entering is $50 for the adult division and $10 for children's division (limited to 12 years old or younger)

1st Place $1000
2nd place $600
3rd Place $400
For Big Fish $100
*Estimates based on at least 100 entries

You may register beginning at 5 AM at Log Cabin ramp the morning of the tournament. Also, you may pre-register in one of two ways: (1) Beginning May 1, 2020, you may log onto
www.ccveteransfoundation.org, click Hooked on Veterans in the Events tab and complete the registration online; or (2) Beginning May 1, 2020, log onto
www.ccveteransfoundation.org, click Hooked on Veterans in the Events tab, print off and complete the registration form and enclose it with your entry fee (checks need to be made payable to Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation) and mail both to:

MAILED REGISTRATION FORMS HAVE TO BE RECEIVED BY JUNE 20, 2020.
If you pre-register and have a receipt, you will not need to check-in at Log Cabin ramp before the start of tournament. If you register by mail, your receipt will be mailed or emailed to you by June 23, 2020.
