So effective tonight at midnight, Fort Worth is now on "stay at home" restrictions. Does this mean i cant go fishing this weekend?

Are they really going to pull cars over? My boats out at Fork so can't see how they can stop me from just driving out there and they aren't going to lock down Alba.

Greg. you are probably fine. just keep some toilet paper in your back seat and say you are taking it to a family member.
i would be pulling my boat so that is my concern. I heard outdoor activities were considered essential, but what does that really mean?

Buddy and I are suppose to head to Fork tomorrow morning. They are vague on what you can and can't do. Should we still go? Should we take 2 vehicles? Are they gonna pull us over going through Tarrant and Dallas County?

The document says "to engage in outdoor activity, provided the individuals comply with social distancing requirements of 6 feet (for example, walking, biking, hiking, golfing, or running)."
I'm assuming my buddy could take his own truck. when fishing we are well more than 6 feet apart.

Is the whole 10 person rule in effect too? Cause riding in truck with buddy is less than 10.

I think it's a valid question... I don't want to get pulled over towing my boat to the ramp. I am going to call my city hall and ask. I am in Little Elm...so, I use that ramp a lot.

We can try and spin it however we want and look for any kind of loophole.... but I think we all know what the answer here is. Outdoor activity is walking around the block in your neighborhood, going for a jog, ect... meaning you dont have to stay actually inside your home... not hooking up the boat and draggin it 30 miles from your house to the lake. I'm not happy about it at all but not sure what we can do... I'd hope an officer would just turn a person around and tell em to go home before laying a Class B Misdemeanor on someone, but they do always look for a person to make an example of and plaster all over the news.

Are they gonna pull us over going through Tarrant and Dallas County? I looked at the order and they do not know how to enforce it..Here is a link... You should be fine on going.. https://www.fox4news.com/news/shelter-at-home-whats-considered-essential

I don't see how driving to a park or hiking around other people doing the same is any better or worse than hooking up the boat as an individual and going fishing
