What are you fellas throwing now a days? I was checking out what's available on line...Top 10 nets etc. I usually go after finger mullet and shad. Nothing huge...just something for this ole' man to throw along the coast.....from shore!!

get a Tim Wade cast net, you can order from Black Dog bait & tackle. We finally found this after going through several of the "salt water" cast nets from Academy and Bass Pro. It's heavier so it sinks faster in the salt water.

sorry, didn't read the part about throwing from shore. You probably don't need as much weight. My son throws ours from the boat and we are in deeper water.
We do have a smaller one from Bass Pro I make them use around here in the lakes, he tends to get it snagged on stuff on the bottom.
