Got to local walmart 6:30 for a 7 opening. Line stretched around the corner of the building. Finally got in and as I was going in, met some people coming back out who had TP. But none was there when I got there. Went to HEB and waited in line for 45 min when they came out and said they had a very limited supply of TP so I knew it would be gone by the time I got inside. Went to Sam's an hour before opening and short line. Ask an employee and was told they had no TP. Left for home. Haven't restocked anything since the beginning of this problem, so I guess I need to look at an alternative plan.

People in the long lines were very well behaved and respectful. I am 80 yo but ok and need no special consideration but I saw many elderly who were handicapped and the long line was a struggle. Wish they would find a better solution for them.

Why not go back to something like they did with gas and go off license plates or first letter of last name...etc? But for the elderly only. Elderly hours should be first 2-3 hours so they have time and they should split them up into 7 different days and spread them out to avoid the lines.

Have you tried the early hours for seniors? I think Walmart has their early open on Tuesdays (i think it is 1 hour early for 65+). I don't know how this works, but it would be nice if they had some supplies of the hoarded items for the seniors to purchase.

Has anybody used the early shopping hours?

I know, but it should be 7 days a week and split them into 7 groups so they don't have to stand in lines.

I was at our local Walmart both yesterday morning at 7:15 and this morning at 7. No milk, no TP, but I was able to score a 4 roll pack of paper towels. Woo Hoo! They do get credit for having people sanitizing he grocery carts before you use them Brookshires yesterday early was a disaster. No bread, milk, eggs, and very little soups and such.

Here it depends on the particular store. We have three Krogers. One doesn't seem to have much, but the newer, larger one does. Some stores have meats, and others don't.

Around here the younger people are complaining about the older people having the first hour shopping. They say the older ones are getting the good stuff,NO WE DON'T HOARD like the younger ones are,

Wal-Mart early entrance for seniors is Tuesday and Thursday from 7 (open) till 8. At that point they let everyone else in. Wal-Mart trucks are running around the clock so they may not have received it over night. Their milk comes from another source and delivery time depends. Most of the time the milk delivery is around 10 ish give or take an hour.
It is a shame that people feel they need to hoard during this time. If everyone would just buy what they need and let the supply catch up there would be plenty for all.

Stay safe guys

With good reason. Olds ruin everything.
