Whoa whoa whoa. Y'all are burying the headline here. I haven't heard of anyone catching smallmouths on Whitney in a VERY long time. Are they really making a comeback? Was there some stocking that I missed?

Little Mineral is a creek arm on Lake Texoma...is Little Mineral a nickname for Lake Whitney I didn't know about ?

No smallmouth in Whitney. They were referring to Texoma.

That would be silly and a gross overreaction. Coronavirus isn't swimming around in the water or floating through the air like skunk scent. A good friend of mine is a doctor. He laughed last night at the idea that a small tournament will spread coronavirus. He said we established long ago that currency is a really ineffective medium for passing diseases. Think about it. If it wasn't we would all be sick all the time.

He also said the idea that guys in boats hundreds of yards apart are going to infect each other is far fetched. Launching and loading boats isn't a much more likely means of transmission.

And of course there is always the obscure concept of WASHING YOUR HANDS.

We take everything to the extreme, but welcome to 2020 America.

Governor Abbott just said he is Governor of the entire state, not just Houston, Dallas, and Austin. Over 200 of Texas' 254 counties are without a single case of coronavirus, so there is no "statewide lockdown."

Thank you for showing some common sense, Mr. Governor.

Some of the trending data coming out of LA looks worse than Italy did at that point, the people there were ignoring the social distancing recomendations so they had no other choice. Texas I think you will see the major metro areas lock down one by one just like Dallas county but have good hope the rest of the state will not entirely lock down if people heed the social distancing rules.
