I went out on Somerville Lake the weekend before last and caught around 20 nice slabs. I started out shallow where I thought they might be and no luck. Pounded some stumps and a few lay overs on the north side in shallow water and had no luck so I headed south and tried some shallow areas as they were not there either. Moved out and found 2 new brushpiles on the edge of a creek channel and slayed them. Piles was in 13 to 15 foot of water. The females were stuffed full of eggs.
