The only differences I saw today was the entrance offices are closed and will not accept hand to hand payments. I had to scan a QR code on the bulletin board and follow directions to pay for a boat launch online. Plenty of wardens were out to vaildate payments afterwards though. So go figure. This was a state park. And it was busy! The folks at the ramps were polite and everyone kept their “social distancing” space.

Eisenhower at Texoma is closed for Day-Use (including the boat ramp). It was funny, I had my State Park Card, so they didn't need to do anything except wave me though. They partially opened the door and said I couldn't go launch. Go figure!!!! The Ramp at the Dam was in business (should've just launched there). Went down to Grand Pappy to try some new water in in the back of Little Mineral. The Bass hadn't moved up yet; water temps in the mid-50s.

When Texas issues a Shelter in Place order like NY, CA, NJ, PA, IL, CT, and Nevada already have, unclear if going solo to go fish a lake will be permitted; as that is not a trip to a healthcare facility (although it its a mental health thing) or to get food. I was in Little Mineral yesterday too David, we caught 100% smallies all day that didn't mind the 55 degree water. and they were in the front 1/3 of the creek arms or on main lake pockets.

Whoa whoa whoa. Y'all are burying the headline here. I haven't heard of anyone catching smallmouths on Whitney in a VERY long time. Are they really making a comeback? Was there some stocking that I missed?
