SK Caffeine Shads are like a Senko/Fluke bait. Not very tough though.

Can the tails be dipped in dye?

Elaztec does not like Dip and Glo or JJs. The elaztec shrinks and shrivels when dipped in that stuff.

I fish it with a swivel about 18 inches above the hook, great action as itโ€™s slowly drug downwards.

Mark Pack has a fluke I bought at the classic in Houston. Bought probably 5-6 bags and need to restock. They work really well for me weightless or Carolina with a LONG leader. If Iโ€™m fishing and not catching anything over 3lbs.... I usually just use super fluke jr

I only use 2 brands, the zoom and the sk caffeine shad. The zoom is very hard to beat but the caffeine shad is a touch heavier and just a hair bigger and gives a different profile and fishes a little deeper.

The fluke is my go to, but still love the old Sluggo's! Used to slay them on those things. Anyone remember around the time the sluggo came out there was another "fluke" type bait that was flat and had one eye on the "top"?

I personally like using a Yamamoto D-Shad due to the salt content and great falling action but for the longest lasting weightless fluke style bait it is hard to beat a Zoom Super Fluke. These two soft plastic lures are tournament proven and when fished slowly with the correct line size and hook size they all can be productive especially during the spawn and post-spawn season. For clear water and spotted bass a Zoom Fluke has a thinner profile and can entice more bites. Good Luck!
