I really like my Dyson. It’s about 10 years old and still sucks good. Never an issue with it. This...very reliable one that is around 13 YO another about 8 YO both still work as they should

We recently acquired a Shark vacuum. It is great! Yep. Don't waste your money on expensive vacs.

Went from Hoover to Dyson to Shark over the years. I will buy another Shark when this one give out for sure.

Not sure about their uprights, but the Miele canister vac is a good one. Got one last year when the spousal unit got tired of the Shark we had. You do have to watch wich Miele you get. The lower end ones are not made in Germany, and the Germany ones are the good ones.

We have the Miele canister vac and it is a great vacuum. We have mostly hardwood floors and that's why we bought this model. It has attachments for carpet and other areas. I would not recommend this Miele model for high pile carpet because it's designed for wood/tile. They make others strictly for carpet.
Great product and worth the money in my opinion.
