We started in Jone’s trying to find clean water and use the wind to help our drift. No bait sighted and only saw a couple of fish. Went to Green’s thinking it would look better there as it’s a bit more protected from the SE winds.

There’s a bunch of bait there. Spooked many fish as we drifted. Managed to catch one spec.
The water there is one shade lighter than chocolate milk.
It’s amazing how quickly this warm water gets dirty.

We haven’t had much luck on the edges of Green’s. Most fish seen and caught were in the mid lake area.

Fished from 1030-1330. Water 75-76 degrees. Incoming tide. Winds SE at 12-15 knots and gusting.

i had to go over to Jamacia Beach and tow a buddies boat and on the ride beck to Bayou Vista i hit that dirty water about mid bay and the seas went from a little rough to very rough. never even thought about fishing after that ride. thanks for the report.

I thought the JB side would be better, but I didn’t think my wife was up for the boat ride.
