We keep catching this lumpy old carp. This is the third time now that we've landed and released it.

First time being back in May 2018, second time was in August 2019, and caught again March 3, 2020. One of the many joys of catch and release fishing. Next time we cross paths with it we'll likely take the weight and length. This carp is characterized by a S like shape, long body, and notch in lip. Not a PB by any means, but still a cool recapture... Interesting to see color, weight, and body changes two years later!

You would think it would learn eventually. I had a session where a friend of mine and I each caught the same koi at Joe Pool within 6 hours.

Crazy! I wonder if she's still around?
