So I bought a new Xpress x19pro. It came with a G2N Helix 9 on the console. I want to keep that one and also add my Helix G2N Mega 10 to the console. Being one is mega and one isn’t can I use one transducer or do I need to mount both? Also how would I mount them so they don’t cross talk? Also do I just hook up one of their Ethernet cables to let them share info? Thanks In advance.

The new boat......😉

The Helix 10 is a special run HW CHIRP promo unit that has Dual Spectrum 140-240 kHz CHIRP with a Low-Q piezo.
The Helix 9 has Dual Beam 83/200 kHz 2D sonar.
Both of your units are MEGA Side Imaging units.

If your Helix 9 has current software, you can share all sonar functions so the best installation is just install the one that comes with the Helix 10 and share all data to the Helix 9 via Ethernet. Turn Sonar OFF on the Helix 9 and select the Helix 10 as the source for each data category in the Helix 9's Network menu.

Thank you. I will give this a try when my Ethernet cable and adapters come in Tuesday.
