Found this one floating with catfish lodged in her mouth. Takes so much to get one this size. 9lbs 8 oz. don’t know how the catfish got in the lake since we didn’t stock them but is what it is

Stay the course, hombre. Spend more on food or remove more culls.

Dang... sucks to see a Big one like that washed up on the bank. Maybe you can get an electro shock boat in there and try to get rid of the catfish??

Sucks. That’s a very sturdy fish though so I’m sure you have more like that in there. Maybe you have some live water running into your lake? That’s weird but those catfish sometimes seem to have legs!

That’s weird but those catfish sometimes seem to have legs! During the big flood a couple of years ago there is a possibility the neighbors tank could have flooded and spilled into the feeder creek . That’s 3/4 or more miles away. Or a bird brought it in

I've seen flooding where the water would be spilled out across a low spot in an open field only inches deep, and find fish trapped in tiny pools hundreds of yards from the neighbors pond after the water went down.
Just one more cast!
